What is a Community Supported Agriculture – better known as CSA?
Think of it as a vegetable subscription. For a certain period of time, a bountiful box of locally grown, freshly picked produce will be available for pick-up. Pick up your box and enjoy the freshest produce. No more big-box produce from across the country. Your produce is locally grown in Henry County and will be picked within 24 hours of being placed on your table. Farm to table cannot get any easier than that!
CSA Details
Pick Up Location: Crestwood, KY (address shared after enrollment) or Jeffersontown Farmers Market
Time: Crestwood Location: Mondays -4:00-7:00
Jeffersontown Location: Saturdays - 8:00-12:00
Delivery: Available on Tuesdays for businesses with 3+ CSA subscriptions
Cost: $200.00 for the season
Don’t forget to bring your box back each week!
What’s in the box?
Below are some examples of a ½ bushel of produce:
Week #1
2-3 lbs. of squash
2-3 lbs. of zucchini
Bunch of green onions
Garlic cloves
2-3 lbs. of green beans
2-3 lbs of red potatoes
Week #2
Romaine lettuce
2-3 lbs. of squash
2-3 lbs. of tomatoes
2-3 lbs of cucumbers
Carrots
Radishes
1/2 dozen of sweet corn
Variety
While some produce will repeat weekly, we strive to provide variety. Please note that availability depends on weather conditions.

Our CSA is an 8-Week Program from June 16 – August 4, 2025

Each ½ bushel contains 6-8 units of seasonal produce which may include:
Red and romaine lettuce
Carrots and radishes
Sweet corn
Potatoes
Cucumbers
Yellow squash and zucchini
Tomatoes
Green onions
Green beans
Garlic
Eggs, pork, and chicken available for additional cost

Payment is due before or on the first day of pick-up. Cash or Check on the first pick-up or Venmo @dandrfarmkentucky before the first pick-up. The CSA is non-refundable. There will be no reimbursement for missed weeks. We will be happy to work with you if you have to miss a week. We hope that you are happy with the produce boxes. If you are not satisfied with them, please reach out to us.

We promise to do our very best to provide you with a bountiful share each delivery. The quantity of produce, however, may vary from week to week due to extreme weather, insects, or other production issues despite best efforts.

If the produce box is not a good fit for your family or is too many vegetables, then come see us at one of the following farmers market:
LaGrange Farmers Market every Saturday (April– October) from 9:00am-1:00pm.
Jeffersontown Farmers Market every Saturday (April-October) from 8:00-12:00.
PeWee Valley – St. James Episcopal Church – Thursdays bi-weekly (June – August) from 5:30-7:30 pm.
